Live at the Museum
Live at the Museum: Miracles of Modern Science
Five Princeton alums, known as Miracles of Modern Science, perform live. The Brooklyn-based band that Spin Magazine named as one of 2009's "25 Must-Hear Artists" combines post-rock explosions, anthemic pop vocals, and antique textures to create a sound all their own. Evocative of music lost in time, this is how a Civil War string band might have imagined the 21st century, or how today's passionate songsmiths might have entertained at a Lincoln benefit. The effortless weave of harmonies and instrumentation will leave you foot-tapping and head-shaking as you take in aural pleasures along with the Museum's vast array of artistic treasures.
