Join us for this special Art for Families. Docents will lead families and children through an exploration of six of the Museum's most beloved works. Stories begin each half hour and last thirty minutes. There is no need to register -- simply drop in as your schedule allows.

10:30 The Four Evangelists
What were the Old Masters trying to say in their paintings; and how did they give us clues to express it? Come find out when we view "Four Men at Work" in our Dutch gallery.

11:00 Pussycat and Roses
"Raindrops on Roses and Whiskers on Kittens"...Let’s talk about one artist’s favorite things.

11:30 Daphne and Apollo: A Story in Stone
A handsome man and a beautiful maiden but NOT the love story you’d expect! Come see what happens when Cupid has a bad arrow day.

12:00 The Ball Game
A thousand years Before Christopher Columbus discovered the New World people were playing ball there. Was it anything like today’s sports? Let’s see if you’d like to play by THESE rules!

12:30 Tomb Figures
Parade to Paradise; camels, dogs, warriors, dancers, and musicians. Where are they going, and why?

1:00 Pasta Eater
What is it about this painting that draws us ever closer to get a better look? The spaghetti, the manners, the wide-open mouth-or all of the above? Let's discuss one of our favorite foods!"
