Recent Acquisitions

Each year the Princeton University Art Museum brings significant new works of art into its collections through gift and purchase. The Museum’s curators research and acquire important works of art with a global reach spanning millennia that build on the platform of collections whose origins date back to the eighteenth century. The Museum’s commitment to collecting works of the highest quality is supported by purchase funds and through the generosity of many collectors who have identified Princeton as an ideal home ensuring the study, research, display, and appreciation of great works of art. New acquisitions are regularly added to our Web site, and discussed in Museum publications including our quarterly magazine and the annual Record. Check this space often to discover highlights of our newest additions.
