Annual Benefit Gala: Sublime & Beautiful

Saturday, February 6, 2016, 6 p.m.

The chill of midwinter will melt away on February 6, as we are transported to Britain’s “green and pleasant land” at Sublime & Beautiful, Princeton University Art Museum’s 2016 benefit Gala. Providing a splendid backdrop for this event will be Pastures Green and Dark Satanic Mills: the British Passion for Landscape, a special exhibition exploring the power of the landscape and its ability to inspire awe, wonder, and delight. Join event cochairs Jeanne Johnson and Connie Poor for an evening to celebrate the arts and the Art Museum as a great cultural resource.

Presented by the Friends of the Princeton University Art Museum, the annual Gala is so much more than a warm highlight of the winter season and a beautiful and elegant party.  Funds generated by this event help make possible the compelling exhibitions and education and outreach programs that the Museum delivers year-round—free of charge—to students and visitors of all ages from near and far.  Invitations will be mailed in mid-November. For more information about sponsorship opportunities and table packages for Sublime& Beautiful please contact Deborah Koenigsberg at 609.258.4057 or dkoenigs@princeton.edu.

A portion of each ticket for Sublime & Beautiful is a tax-deductible contribution to the Princeton University Art Museum.
