Galvanized steel
Princeton University, presented by the Class of 1952 in honor of Gerhard R. Andlinger, Class of 1952, on the occasion of the dedication of the Andlinger Center for the Humanities, May 2004

Suspended above the lobby, Clouds Nine explores the playful tension between the imagery of cartoon-like floating clouds and the reflective material of galvanized steel. Win Knowlton’s sculptures refer to the natural world and often are made from industrial materials and found objects.
