Winners Announced: "The Itinerant Languages of Photography" Exhibition Critical Response Contest
The Department of Spanish and Portuguese Languages and Cultures and the Princeton University Art Museum are pleased to announce the winners of “The Itinerant Languages of Photography” Exhibition Critical Response Contest.
This fall, students in seminars from the departments of Art and Archaeology, Comparative Literature, English, Spanish, and Visual Arts visited the Art Museum to engage with the exhibition The Itinerant Languages of Photography.
Established in 2008, the Andrew W. Mellon Fund for Faculty Innovation at the Princeton University Art Museum encourages innovative curricular initiatives that use the Art Museum’s collections in significant ways.
At Princeton, object-based teaching remains a hallmark of the Museum’s relationship with its nearest neighbor (both intellectually and geographically) and of the intimately scaled teaching experience that is a signature of the University.
