This year’s selection of outdoor film screenings is inspired by the transformation of literary sources in unexpected ways, as seen in the exhibition Frank Stella Unbound: Literature and Printmaking. Inspired by Shakespeare’s Hamlet, this classic Disney animation transposes the story of the melancholy Danish prince to a tale of a royal lion cub tricked by a treacherous uncle. Starring Matthew Broderick and Jeremy Irons.
All films begin at sundown. In the event of rain, films will be shown at 8 p.m. in 101 McCormick Hall.
