The Assassin (2015)

Loosely based on a Tang dynasty tale, the film follows the life of a general’s daughter who is kidnapped and trained to become an assassin. When she doesn’t execute a mission, she is ordered to kill her betrothed, forcing her to choose between love, family, and the assassins.
