Six celebrated scholars address themes in Cézanne’s art linked to works in the exhibition Cézanne: The Rock and Quarry Paintings. These range from his first oil sketches of rocks of the mid-1860s to both famous and less-known paintings of the 1880s and ’90s and finally to watercolors dating as late as 1900
