Join members of the Museum’s education department for an interactive discussion exploring perceptions of light and color. By placing artwork from the Museum’s collections in a historical context, and by considering a work’s technique and materials, participants will explore the relativity of color, the effect of different light sources, and the symbolism of light and shadow in different cultures. In Zoom breakout rooms, participants are encouraged to turn on their cameras and unmute their microphones to join the discussion. Spots are limited and registration is required.
