The Art Museum and the Princeton Garden Theatre present a screening of Sally Potter's 1992 film Orlando, starring Tilda Swinton. A story of the quest for love, Orlando is also an ironic dance through English history. Addressing contemporary concerns about gender and identity, the film is remarkably true to the spirit of Virginia Woolf’s 1928 novel, while skillfully adapting the original story to give it a striking, cinematic form. Introduced by Museum Director James Steward. Museum members receive the Princeton Garden Theatre member admission price.
