This film will move to its rain date, Tuesday, August 9, in the Blair-Joline Courtyard due to impending rain.

This year’s outdoor film series features three of our favorite musical films from across the decades. Bring a blanket or chair—we'll provide the popcorn! 

La La Land (2016) 

128 minutes, PG-13; directed by Damien Chazelle 

Written and directed by Princeton native Damien Chazelle, this film follows Mia (Emma Stone), an aspiring actress, and Sebastian (Ryan Gosling), a dedicated jazz musician, who are struggling to make ends meet in a city known for crushing hopes and breaking hearts. Set in modern-day Los Angeles, this original musical about everyday life explores the joy and pain of pursuing your dreams. Rain date: Tuesday, August 9, in the Blair/Joline Courtyard.
