On the 32nd anniversary of Day With(out) Art, a day when cultural organizations raise awareness of AIDS, remember people who have died, and inspire positive action, the Museum and the Princeton Garden Theatre invite you to a screening of Test (2013), featuring an introduction by the director, Chris Mason Johnson, and Museum Director James Steward. Test follows a struggling understudy in a modern dance company, Frankie (Scott Marlowe), as he navigates free-spirited San Francisco in 1985. As Frankie embarks on a new relationship with Todd (Matthew Risch), the pair encounter a world of risk—it’s the early years of the epidemic—but also a world of hope, humor, visual beauty, and musical relief.
Free and open to the public.
