Location

Art@Bainbridge

Members are invited to meet the artist Victor Ekpuk at this preview of the exhibition Victor Ekpuk: Language and Lineage at Art@Bainbridge. Get a sneak peek of the exhibition, grab a drink, and learn more about the art on view with the exhibition curator Annabelle Priestley.

In paintings, sculptures, and works on paper, the artist Victor Ekpuk unfolds his vibrant visual repertoire inspired by Nsibidi, an ancient system of communication from southern Nigeria and northwest Cameroon. Ekpuk’s artworks celebrate our multicultural societies’ syncretism and comment on sociopolitical issues.
