Museum members are invited to join us over Zoom to explore Object Lessons in American Art, a traveling exhibition of works from the Museum’s collections that explores American history, culture, and society. Object Lessons asks fundamental questions about artistic significance, material properties, and changing meanings across time and contexts, with a focus on artisanship, patronage, socioeconomics, environmental considerations, gender, and race. Hosted by Karl Kusserow, John Wilmerding Curator of American Art.
