Artist Conversation: Dawoud Bey

Join the artist Dawoud Bey—in person or live via Zoom—whose works feature in Time’s Relentless Melt, now on view at Art on Hulfish, for a conversation with Katherine A. Bussard, Peter C. Bunnell Curator of Photography. Bey’s The Birmingham Project (2012) is a response to the 1963 white supremacist bombing of the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama. Bey’s portraits show the aging process and allude to its violent disruption.  Reception to follow.
