Student Tour Guides

Student Tour Guides learn about the Art Museum’s collections and share their love of art with University, local, and global communities. Training, held during Wintersession, will include in-depth exploration of the collections with curators and workshops on topics such as close looking and visitor engagement. Guides will lead tours of campus art, highlighting the University’s world-class collection of outdoor sculpture by such artists as Henry Moore, Ai Weiwei, Richard Serra, and Maya Lin. No previous art history coursework is required, only an interest in art and in interacting with the public.  Applications are no longer being accepted for 2022. Information on how to apply for 2023 will be posted in the fall.
