Winners Announced: "The Itinerant Languages of Photography" Exhibition Critical Response Contest

The Department of Spanish and Portuguese Languages and Cultures and the Princeton University Art Museum are pleased to announce the winners of “The Itinerant Languages of Photography” Exhibition’s Critical Response Contest.

WINNERS:

First Prize: Cameron Bell, Class of 2016, "The Chicas of the Concrete" (The Girls of the Concrete)
Second Prize: Cindy Johnson, Class of 2015, "Fantasma" (Ghost)
Third Prize: Yessica Martinez, Class of 2015, "Rastros" (Traces)

First honorable mention: Aliisa Lee, Class of 2016, "Shutter"
Second honorable mention: Pathik Shah, Class of 2016, "The Testimony"

We congratulate the winners for the excellence of their pieces and we thank everyone who participated for the time and the effort they put into their responses. We learned to look at the photographs differently through the originality and precision of everyone’s ideas and insights.
