The Art Museum and the Department of Art and Archaeology host a symposium in conjunction with the exhibition The Berlin Painter and His World. With presentations by Mario Iozzo, Florence National Archaeological Museum; François Lissarrague, École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, Paris; Richard Neer, University of Chicago; Dimitris Palaiothodoros, University of Thessaly, Greece; and Tanja Scheer, Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Germany. A reception in the Museum will follow.
