Elena Torok

Elena Torok is the associate objects conservator at the Princeton University Art Museum. She works on the treatment, research, and long-term care of three-dimensional objects in the collections, including archaeological materials, contemporary art, decorative arts, and sculpture. Before joining the Museum in 2022, Torok held positions at the Dallas Museum of Art (2017–2022) and the Yale University Art Gallery (2013–2017). She has also completed work or student placements at the British Museum, the American Museum of Natural History, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. She earned her MS from the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation in 2013 with concentrations in objects conservation and preventive conservation.
