Artist inscription: "Second month of spring in the Jupiter gengwu 15th year of the Jiaqing reign, respectfully painted by Gai Qi at the Jihuating pavilion" 嘉慶十五年龍集庚午春二月之吉華亭改琦敬畫 Inscription (top): Calligrapher: Gao Songrui 高嵩瑞 (unidentified; act. ca. 1810), dated 1810 Text: transcription of a version of the “Fo shuo xian zhe wu fude jing,” which was translated by Bai Fazu 白法祖 (ca. 206-ca. 305) in the Western Jin 西晋 period.
