Become an Art Museum Student Tour Guide

Student Tour Guides learn about the Art Museum’s collections and share their love of art with University, local, and global communities. Training, held during Wintersession, will include in-depth exploration of the collections with curators and workshops on topics such as close looking and visitor engagement. Guides will lead tours of campus art, highlighting the University’s world-class collection of outdoor sculpture by such artists as Henry Moore, Ai Weiwei, Richard Serra, and Maya Lin. No previous art history coursework is required, only an interest in art and in interacting with the public.

We are now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 academic year from the classes of 2027 and 2028. To apply, please fill out this Google form by Sunday, November 3 at 11:59 p.m.. Select applicants will be contacted for an interview in November.

Join the Student Advisory Board

The Student Advisory Board (SAB) is a group of Princeton University students dedicated to creating inclusive and welcoming experiences for the undergraduate student community and fostering lively participation in the larger Princeton arts community. Board members create student events inspired by artwork in the Museum’s collections and exhibitions at our two downtown galleries, Art@Bainbridge and Art on Hulfish. They collaborate with other student groups to incorporate diverse student voices in their programming. The board is committed to facilitating ongoing dialogue about equity, anti-racism, access, and inclusion in their work. Popular events include art-making programs, artist talks, alumni networking, and the Student Gala.

We are now accepting applications for the 2025 board year from the classes of 2026, 2027, and 2028.
