To ensure the safety and well-being of our communities, in-person outreach programs and guided experiences on campus are not currently available. To learn more about available virtual programs, please contact the visitor logistics coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Art Museum’s group programs are grounded in the core tenets of our audience-centered approach: close looking, active engagement, and inquiry-based discovery. Drawing from the more than 112,000 objects in the Museum’s collections, our group programs explore global art from antiquity to the present.
Planning and construction of the new Museum building is underway. During this time, the Art Museum will offer an array of on-campus and community outreach programs for K–12 students, college students, adults, and seniors wishing to schedule group experiences.
On-campus guided experiences are available Monday through Sunday and must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance. Information about getting to campus and parking is available on the University’s Visit Us web page.
Community outreach programs are designed to bring the Museum to groups of 10 or more. Museum docents will travel to public spaces—e.g., community centers, local libraries, or schools—within a 20-mile radius of Princeton University. Outreach programs are available Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., with 12 p.m. being the latest program start time, and must be scheduled at least 1 month in advance.
