Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum’s lively historical reenactment, cosponsored by the Museum.
Catch the spirit of a camp meeting with the Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum (SSAAM). Camp meetings were an important part of religious and social life in the Sourlands from the late 1800s to the 1930s. This free, family-friendly event takes you back in time with reenactors in period clothing, live music, baked goods, and opportunities to immerse yourself in the community’s vibrant history.
