An exploration of beadwork with the artist Joyce J. Scott

Join Joyce J. Scott, whose work is on view in Joyce J. Scott: Declarations, for an inspiring beading workshop. This session introduces participants to the peyote stitch, a method of beading Scott uses in her own work, and will include discussions on bead selection, threading techniques, and more. Participants will explore how color, pattern, and personal narrative come together through beadwork.

Beginners welcome! Materials will be provided, and participants will leave with materials to continue the work they began in the session.
