Experience an afternoon of live music and local flavor at Princeton Porchfest! Starting at noon, stroll around town and enjoy local talent as generous neighbors lend their porches for live sets. Grab a bite, drink, or coffee from one of Princeton’s beloved small businesses to enjoy your day of free community fun, and catch student performers onstage at the Museum’s Grand Hall!
Be sure to stop in at the Museum for collections-inspired art making, a music-themed gallery activity, and more!

1–4:30 p.m. | Open Studio: Create Your Own Takeda-Inspired Designs
Creativity Labs
Experiment with stencils and fabric to decorate a canvas pencil pouch or design your own travel poster, inspired by the forms, patterns, and fictional travel company of the artist Takeda Hideo, whose work is on view in Takeda Hideo’s Genpei: Defying Authority.
Organized by the Arts Council of Princeton. Cosponsored by the Student Advisory Board of the Princeton University Art Museum, in collaboration with the USG Campus and Community Affairs Committee and the Office of Community and Regional Affairs.
