Stardust,

2013–14

Bhakti Ziek, American, born 1946
PP695
Stardust, a six-panel jacquard tapestry, was hand woven by fabric artist Bhakti Ziek in her Vermont studio over the course of ten months. Designed to give the illusion of light coming through the room’s neo-gothic windows, the gradation from dark to light is also a metaphor for the transitional experiences of students while at the University.
