John Harding, American, born 1940
x1984-19
From the late 1960s to the 1980s, Harding and other photographers associated with the movement later known as New American Color Photography helped advance the acceptance of color photography as an artistic rather than a commercial pursuit. Focusing on the minutiae of everyday life, these artists excelled at capturing their subjects naturally in their regular environments.
