Description
Fire-polished, rounded, vertical rim, uneven and curved slightly inward. The sides of the body slope toward the flat, slightly concave bottom. At the center of the bottom is a faint, annular pontil mark, 2 cm. wide. Because of its material and overall appearance, it could be a later Byzantine, or even medieval, lamp-liner.
