Description
Fire-polished, partly in-folded rim; wide, trefoil mouth with dark blue coil wound below rim; cylindrical neck. Angular, vertical handle from shoulder to rim. Each side of the janiform body represents a chubby male face, one smiling and the other serious, with two rows of curls divided by a straight, smooth ribbon, creating a tripartite, crescent-shaped jewel over the forehead. Blown into a bipartite mold of vertical sections, open at base. Vertical seams at the junction of the heads. At the center of the bottom is an annular pontil mark, 2 cm. wide.
