formerly attributed to Francisco de Herrera the Younger, called "El Mozo", Spanish, 1627–1685

This drawing was attributed to Francisco de Herrera the Younger (1627-1685) when the museum acquired it, but comparisons show that this drawing's technique of using slashing hatchmarks is closer to that of Vincente Salvador Gómez, a Valencian school draftsman.
