Said to have been found in a church in Bochnia (Galicia, Poland); formerly in the collection of Dr. Albert Figdor (Vienna); sold by Auktionshaus für Altertümer Glückselig (Vienna) in 1930, possibly purchased by Horace L. Mayer; given to the Museum in 1958 by Mayer.
