On top of stretcher: Nassau Hall in 1860 - painted by F. Childs and reproduced that year by colored lithography - Robertson, Seibert & Shearman, lithographers; McGinness and Smith, publishers. Ownership of this painting passed from the family of President Maclean to that of Prof. Henry Clay Cameron, and in June 1929 from Dr. Arnold Guyot Cameron '86, by gift of Alfred E. Vondermuhll of the Class of 1901, to Princeton University.
