Description
Yue Fei 岳飛 (1103-1142), a military general, calligrapher, and poet during the Southern Song dynasty, is portrayed seated in a chair draped with an animal pelt, holding an open book before him in his hands. He wears a plain robe and headcloth, and around his waist is a belt ornamented with plaques.
