Description
Bearded figure seated on the ground with his left leg drawn up and hands around his knee. Looking straight forward, he wears a robe that is shaded gray in the rubbing, while his hood is the same dark black as the plain background. The date when the pictorial stone from which this rubbing was taken was erected is inscribed at right. The names of the painter along with three other disciples who were together responsible for carving the pictorial stone are inscribed at left. These men appear to be disciples or followers of the sitter who name is not recorded.
