5-pointed star shape, 3 cm. h (max) x 2.9 cm. w. (max); arms of start are connected in an arc shape. Small gold central Mao profile on plain red background roundelle, with starburst pattern from circle outward to ~.08 cm. plain gold border. Back: flat, clasp sits below points of upper arms of star. Inscription below 8 & 4: “毛主席万岁”.
