Untitled (Hair) was my first print that Universal Limited Art Editions (ULAE) published. I was told to arrive at the print shop with nothing, so I just brought myself and used my body to create, and a self-portrait of my head unfolded. I used my hair, Xerox transfers, casts of my body, and wigs to create the images on the lithography stones. It was the first print I made at ULAE, and I’ve been happy to continue working with them since 1989.
