The text of this eulogy was written by Su Boheng 蘇伯衡 (1329-1392) and is recorded in his Su Pingzhong wenji 蘇平仲文集 (Sibu congkan 四部叢刊 ed. based on: 景上元鄧氏群碧樓藏明正統壬戌刊本), “宗忠簡公畫像賛,” juan 2:
公之力足以旋乾而轉坤公之功足以攘夷而安夏始以一言
