Description
Portrait of Xue Tao, a famous female poet of the Tang dynasty, shown standing while holding a book or papers in her right hand. The image was carved in 1903 as a woodblock following a painting by Feng Shimao, with a long inscription across the top composed by Luo Xiang 羅緗 (act. 19th century) and written in running-script calligraphy by his younger brother Luo Xinyu 羅心魚.
