Join artist Alia Bensliman for an exploration of sensory experiences inspired by Faig Ahmed: Textiles of Consciousness, on view at Art@Bainbridge. Faig Ahmed’s work reimagines traditional textiles, using digital techniques to create distortions that play with the senses. Bensliman will lead participants through an exploration of how weaving can be stretched, bent, layered, and transformed—embracing experimentation and play.
Participants will meet at Art@Bainbridge for a look at Faig’s works and then will head to the Creativity Labs.
Member cost: $40. Materials provided.
