Tai Chi at the Museum

Malkin Amphitheater
June 11, 2026 5:30–6:30 p.m.

Join the Princeton Tai Chi Club for an hour of relaxing movement and awareness practice.

Experience how relaxation can make us stronger through gentle movement with the Princeton Tai Chi Club. Led by Mackenzie Hawkins ’15, instructor at the Wuwei Tai Chi School, explore the meditative movements in Chen-style tai chi, including the core methods of “laying down the burden” and “feeling finely long.” Beginners welcome; no experience necessary.

In case of inclement weather, the class will be held on the Museum’s North Terrace.

Cosponsored by the Princeton Tai Chi Club.

About the Princeton Tai Chi Club: We offer free weekly sessions in Chen-style tai chi for Princeton students, faculty, and staff. Beginners welcome; no experience necessary. Drop in any week—see dates and locations at taichiclub.princeton.edu
