Directions & Parking
The Museum is located in the heart of Princeton University’s historic campus, approximately a five-minute walk (0.2 miles) from the intersection of Nassau and Witherspoon Streets. Princeton is accessible by bike, car, train, and bus.
Bike
Bike racks are available on campus.
Public Transportation
Take a NJ Transit, Septa, or Amtrak train to Princeton Junction on the Northeast Corridor. Then take the transfer train to Princeton Station, located on campus. The Museum is an approximately ten-minute walk (0.4 miles) from Princeton Station.

Parking
Princeton University is pedestrian friendly, with limited vehicle access to main campus. Visitors have a variety of parking options on campus and in town. Select the option that best suits your needs and itinerary.
Parking in Town
Visitors are welcome to make use of the various parking garages and metered spaces in Princeton.
Helpful Tip: Parking in town is a great option when pairing your Museum visit with dining or shopping.
Parking on Campus
Monday–Friday
Museum visitors can park for free at the Stadium Drive Garage by registering for a daily permit online. The Museum is an approximately twenty-minute walk (1 mile) from the garage. Alternatively, visitors are welcome to take TigerTransit from the garage (see Getting Around Campus below). See Accessibility for further information.
Evenings and weekends
Visitors can park in any numbered and non-restricted parking lot after 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and on weekends. Theatre Drive Garage is the closest campus garage, 0.5 miles (or approximately a ten-minute walk) from the Museum.
