Panel Discussion: Willem de Kooning

Hear from de Kooning experts on the task of writing about the artist.

Mark Stevens, coauthor of the award-winning biography De Kooning: An American Master (2004), and Stephen Mack, project manager of a forthcoming de Kooning catalogue raisonné, discuss the difficult but rewarding task of addressing the chronology of the artist’s life and work. Introduced and moderated by Alexandra Foradas, Haskell Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art.
